It's not alerting me, it is just when I check for app updates, it's like the
update was never installed. When of course, infact, it was installed.

Hi, Duyahn. This isn't any consolation to you, but I have had similar
issues with updates alerting me to a newer update, then later app get or the
update itself would alert me that there was an update even though I had
applied the update. I hope I made sense.

I would just like to know why the app is still showing in updates if I
already have it after checking for updates. It should be gone now. It should
say there aren't any ujpdates.

Hi Duyahn:
Apget indeed still shows the available Skype Enhanced update. My
retraction was pertaining to the "Speak" options not being checked or
unchecked.

Hello Richard:
As I had the same issue yesterday, i had to call tech suport about it. It
kept saying it was installed but, when I checked for updates, it was still
there. So, like you, I had to shut down, then restart Skype.

I retract my previous statement. A shut-down and restart has resolved the
problem.

In addition: There is no way of telling if the first third and fourth
"speak" options are active or disabled. No "Checked" indicator appears or
disappears when hitting <ENTER> on the menu items.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing as well. I just went ahead and reinstalled
the update. I figured it couldn't hurt. I'm glad you pointed this issue
out.

The update to the Skype Enhanced ap looks great. Unfortunately, even
after updating, Apget still shows there is a new version ... 'Looks like a
version issue in the ap package.
