I don't know what you guys there at GW have done, but as of this latest
update to the Outlook Enhanced app, I no longer, well it's perhaps early but
I think for the most part I no longer, have to press the read-to-end
keystroke but a single time to start the reading-to end. It's just awesome!
I've needed at least two presses of Ctrl-Pause for several Win-Eyes updates
now, and have been very sick of this "bug" or "fluke" or whatever you want
to call it.
One thing that is newly annoying, however, is the sound I get whenever the
Info-bar, I think that's what you call it, has a message for me, usually
about removing extra linefeeds or something. The sound I hear is the same
one I hear when Internet Explorer sounds off to notify me about the
completion of a download, etc, or when UAAC is notifying me. I hate that
sound, and wish I could change it, at least for Outlook. It's particularly
loud and intrusive, and happens so frequently in Outlook. But, on the
whole, guys, fixing that double-tapp\ to start read-to-end makes it a
definite keeper. Hope it sticks for a good long while. Thanks.
