Check your sound schemes.
When I had this problem, I had to change to the one sound scheme that had the
WE sounds, and use this as a template that I could modify and save under other
names if I wanted to.

Subject: Window-Eyes sounds?

Hello everyone.

On bank holiday Monday I decided to upgrade from Windows7 to Windows8.0, then
to 8.1

Please can I ask though, I've got Window-Eyes installed on my current
installation.
I've upgraded to version 8.4 and you know that little harp sound for exiting
and starting Window-Eyes well this has disappeared!

Is there any way I can get this back?
I've been into the Windows control panel, under Window-Eyes and all I can find
in here is the default Windows8 sounds.

Thanks very much, I look forward to any responses.
