Neville, and co US outsiders,
You are not sensitive at all. To me it is a blatant smack in our faces from GW Micro's side. I reside in South Africa and I promoted the download of WE for Office. Are we not loyal enough or don't we mean anything for the company. I suppose we will not get an answer from them on the list. Now they will just sit back. This may be so, and I accept that U.S. laws on gambling are notoriously complex. But: GW, AI and ABC/XYZ have benefited from the funds provided by overseas customers. Our MSAs are offered in advance of new releases, so if for legal reasons we cannot participate in an online raffle, something should be offered to us. I have laid a complaint with AI Squared, and i'll escalate it if I have to. I encourage others to do so. Where is Mr Wu in all of this? The list has never seen any comment from him on any matters regarding window-Eyes he owns Window-Eyes and presumably, signs off on decision like this? Vaughan. Or maybe not legal for the U.S. to have this sort of raffle in another country. -Bob Ringwald From: Brian Moore <mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 09, 2014 8:22 PM To: Neville <mailto:[email protected]> ; Jeremy Curry <mailto:[email protected]> ; GW Micro <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: Enter Your Window-Eyes to Win! NO, you are not alone. I am from Canada and have owned it since 3.1 I think or perhaps before and always kept current but because I live across a border, can't win.
