I agree with the below.

I have this speculative view at present that we might see a Window-eyes
Zoomtext combo, which won't be useful to anyone. Those of us who are totals,
and who voluntarily took part in the beta testing of versions previous to
version 8.4. will be locked out, and if it becomes a Zoomtext combo, where will
braille support go etc.

Now that we are nostalgic about how things used to be, Doug used to
periodically do presentations on the screen reader industry, and quite
reasonably, would talk about the Window-eyes design and philosophy. These often
coincided with pending releases. It has been a while since such
presentations were given so that the world could know that Window-eyes has a
profile.

But yes: beta testing for Window-Eyes nine gets my vote.

Vaughan.

For many past new versions of WE GW ran a beta testing cycle for WE
users so bugs could be caught. This is not true for the most recent version
releases. Has A squared offered beta testing on its past product releases?
To me beta testing is a great way to improve on a products final release.
