Hi Everyone,
I need to get not only my Window-Eyes sounds back, but my Shut-down
computer sound, and ding sound as well.
I did completely un-install Total Recorder.
I will not have such a program that takes over my sounds like that
and that I can't even close properly.
These instructions written here below in the previous message seem
very confusing to me the way they are written.
If someone could please send clearer instructions, I would appreciate
it so very much, please. <smile>
Thanks much.
Many Blessings,
Pat Ferguson

When trying to close total recorder, it does not close completely, so
the sounds are turned off. To get then back, get to the start menu,
type sound, hit down arrow till it says sounds, configure your audio
devices, do shift tab till you get to the tab control, right arrow till
is says something like sound configurations, tab till a combo box which
will probably say windows defaults, and do down arrow till you can't do
it any more and hit enter and you should have all your sounds back.
Also, you will have to kill off total recorder manually using task
manager or some other program.
