Hi,
It is a feature.
The below is taken from the manual.
Start of quote:
Switch synthesizer languages automatically - Radio Button Group

  * When this option is enabled, Window-Eyes will automatically change the
synthesizer language when browse mode is on. Some synthesizers do not support
this feature.
End of quote.

If the page or email has a different language tag, Window-eyes will try and
switch to it and read in that language.

If you do not want this to happen, go to verbosity/browse mode/languages and
turn it off.
Chris

I have had that happen when going to certain web sites. Strange!

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Strange issue with WE and a Brittish accent

I was reading the email message that Michael Micallef sent into the list
recently, and an odd thing happened when I opened and read it. The entire
message was read to me with a heavy Brittish accent. I checked the spelling
and it was fine, then tried closing the message and reading a different one,
which was read in the American accent like everything else. It's just that one
message and the short adendum he sent a short time later. I am running Windows
7 and the latest version of WE with Elequence...a temporary set up to be sure.
So, what's up with the accent in just this one message from this one person? I
don't consider it a problem, but more of a curious oddity. Jon
