Hi,

First windows 10 will run on a phone tablit or desktop. This means what ever
device you want to use you will be using windows the same operating system on
all your devices.

Second the start menu has been restored.

Write once and run on all. Any windows app will run on windows 10 and size it
self for what ever screen size is in use. So if you are using a six inch phone
the app will size for it or if you are on a 72 inch tv the app will size for
that.

As for your other question about windows explorer they never did away with the
older file management system. It is quite a simple task to get back the menu
system in explorer and remove the ribbon. I have done this on my laptop just
have not done it on this venue now that I am working on. This means that even
if they have not restored it buy default in 10 you will be able to get it back.
Note all keyboard commands that you use in windows 7 work in 8 and later.

Hth

I myself can’t wait. I want windows on all my devices. Another thing I would
love is to be able to run android apps on windows and use window-eyes to read
the information from these apps.

Question is though, what does Windows 10 offer over Windows 7? Is the
interface any less unusable with screen readers than the ui on Windows 8? Have
they perhaps restored a more sensible file management interface, say, something
similar to the old classic windows Explorer?
Stand by for the flames and putdowns. *smile*
Sincerely, Matthew

Goodmorning Everyone,

Computer enthusiasts like mine, knows that the new Microsoft Windows 10
Alfa/beta public testing begins this week. See website at:
https://insider.windows.com/

So, I wish to suggest to those who have the possibility to try the New
Microsoft Windows 10 on a virtual environment to do so.

I also wish to ask GW-micro, to tell us if present WE-v8.4 is sufficient enough
to work with this Windows 10.

But, more than that…. I wish to encourage GW-Micro and those who manage to test
the Windows 10, to encourage Microsoft, to do us the blind a big favour as
regarding accessibility, and make it possible for us the blind to install
windows 10, from scratch, without any sighted assistance, or by using any other
third-party tools to do so. Nowadays this is possible because all pcs have
integrated sound-chip, so it’s not an excuse anymore.

That’s all for today. Happy Computing.
