Thanks all for suggesting turning off numbers under screen in the we
control panel. Well I tried that and it did not take care of the format
problem. As I said earlier I have a triple talk usb synth. and I am
using we 8.04 I cannot pinpoint when this behavior started but it can be
pretty annoing at times.
