Hi. I hope someone on this list can help, smile. While I was away from my
computer running Window-eyes 8.4.0 under Windows 8.1, a notification popped
up alerting me that office updates are available. I couldn't get to the
computer immediately, so I figured I would install the updates from the
system tray. In order for the system tray to show all items, I have to
press enter on the notification button. I can then up or down arrow to the
office updates are available button. If I tab to try to find one of the
single or double click buttons, I hear internet explorer button. I think I
have to tab or try down arrow to find the office updates button (sorry,
can't remember.) Anyway, after I find the office updates button again, I
use the insert-plus keys to route the mouse pointer to the button.
Window-eyes says pointer routed to button, but when I try left clicking the
button, the updates don't install that way either. I hear some gobledy gook
about the overflow navigation area. If I can't get this issue resolved,
maybe a call to the Microsoft Accessibility hotline is in order? Thanks.
