Hi John, Try using the Window-eyes alternate spell checking method with alt-; and alt-'.
Because you never leave the document you can use commands such as current line, current word and current paragraph to get the word in context. Press alt-; to spell check back through the document or press alt-' to spell check forward through the document. You hit the applications key to get a list of suggestions, find one and hit enter and move on. Here is a tutorial on how to use it: https://www.gwmicro.com/Training/Tutorials/Text/SpellCheckWithWindow-Eyes.pdf IMO it is a powerful feature that once you get used to it, it can make spell checking faster . If you want to use f7, you might try reinstalling your office sets from the file/factory settings menu item in the Window-eyes control panel. Once you do that you'll need to reinstall office enhance and outlook enhance. Fastest way to do that is through AppGet windows-g. Spellcheck does not work. When I press F-8 to spell check an e-mail or document, We does not read me the errors; tabbing to get to the suggested corrections is problematic and WE sometimes locks up. I can't find the keystrokes for finding the error and reading suggestions in the app Help. It used to be that the spell check worked beautifully; WE read each error and I could tab to suggestions, arrow down, or tab to ignore, change, etc. Now all of this functionality is broken. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks. John riehl If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
