That's correct. The .exe should be running and the .vbs stopped.

Hi: OK, I opened Internet Explorer and found only 2 versions this time.
One was a IEEnhance .exe which was running and one was a IEEnhance.vbs that was
not running.
The exe version said something about global in the text of the list item while the vbs
version did not but said something that sounded like "grip" or something.
What is going on here?
Should the vbs script be running when Internet Explorer is active, the exe
version or both?

Refresh the list while within Script manager with F5 and the phantom IE
Enhanced entries should disappear.

Hi: I just looked at the script manager dialog and found 6 or 7 copies
of IE Enhance – all stopped in the list of scripts!

This sounds like a major problem to me unless there is some reason why
I should have 6 or 7 copies of the script in the list.

I have not downloaded the script unless there were updates to it and
then just clicked the pop ups GW provides when a script has an update
available.

OK, I am lost on what is causing this problem and on how to fix it,
and how to prevent it from happening again.

Any suggestions?

I run windows 8.1 and the latest version of WE.
