That is my understanding, but those of us with existing SMAs can expect the agreemnts to be honoured.
As things currently stand, there will need to be a considerable advantage to purchasing from scratch, and I hope that the trap of being free to compete with NVDA has not been fallen into, but people who wish to purchase or have paid upgrades need to be sure that we are getting a product substantially better than NVDA. Version nine reads as a significant advance, but there are lots of things which need to be included which recognise the loyalty given to Window-Eyes by payhing customers. It would cause me concern if for some strange reason, revenue derived from Zoomtext was used to subsidise Window-eyes – it must stand on its own two feet, and that includes incentivising people to purchase a premium product. I am satisfied at the monent that all wil be revealed so properly informed decisions can be made – looks like sooner rather than later. Vaughan. I’m sure its the standard price for an upgrade except for us who have wisely purchased an SMA. I have one upgrade left on my SMA. I would strongly suggest anyone who does not have a SMA, to get one now. In the long run you save quite a bit of money. -Bob Ringwald From: Ron or Susan Denis <mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 21, 2014 10:48 AM To: 'gw-info' <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: Guess What?
