Just download and install firefox version 30.
I got it here:

Firefox version 33 has security patches that version 30 does not have.
You give up a little security for the ability to be able to read the
screen with the mouse.
Make sure that you uncheck automatic updates in firefox/ options/
advance/ update

Hi,
You will need to downgrade to Firefox 29 or 30 in order to return
mouse functionality to Firefox.
In later versions of Firefox the changes no longer work.
They also do not work under Windows 8..1 regardless of the Firefox
version.
