There is no doubt in my mind that web browsing has gone through its "giant
leap" forward as this relates to Window-eyes. My bank's online site has the
button to confirm a bill payment obscured in a frame. Window-eyes and
Internet Explorer hated it. The button is now accessible. The site itself
gives much more information. My local newspaper also is easier to navigate
through its clutter.

Window-Eyes is definitely faster on my Windows 8.1.1 machine. But: like at
least one other user, the "find" dialogue in Inter Explorer is sluggish.
It also seems that Windows Explorer may also be a little slow.

The Readme confirms my disappointment regarding braille enhancements. The
Alva 640 Comfort's hot keys are not correct with respect to some of the
labeling. Braille hot keys have not been properly grouped, and no braille
auto scrolling. Direct contracted braille input has been asked for by some
users andthis has not been implemented.

It might be that more enhancements will be part of the final release - but
this beta is off to an encouraging start, with more interaction on my part
to be done.

Vaughan.
