Hi,
Upgrading thunderbird will not change your messages at all. One thing
that I really like about thunderbird is that you can copy the
thunderbird folder under your user directory\apps directory and put that
thunderbird folder on any other thunderbird program and all of your
account settings and messages are immediately copied over to another
computer.

Hello List,
I have been advised to upgrade my versions of Thunderbird and
Firefox. Of course, changing Firefox should not cause a problem, but
I currently have messages in several folders in Thunderbird. Can
someone please let me know what to do for the upgrade so I will not
lose my messages and account information. Thank you.
Carol
