I should add to what Chris said. Getting all items in the sys tray (hidden or not) is by design with the Windows Enhance app. This was part of the app upgrade, not Window-Eyes 9. upgrade. But this is a listview so you should be able to type the first couple letters of what you want and be right there...even if you have many items in the list.

Hi,
Try going to the Window-eyes control panel.
Press alt-a for the apps menu.
Arrow to windows enhance and press enter.
Finally turn off replace systray dialog with enhance notification dialog.

Subject: W E 9 and the system tray

         Hi,
I've noticed that, even though I've got my notification area set to hide
certain icons, every item in the system tray is now spoken whether they're
supposed to be hidden or not. I usually have five or six icons in the
notification area and now I've got 16 which makes it hard to find what I'm
looking for. Is this a bug or deliberate? Hope not!

Cheers,
Sandra.
