I use Thunderbird as my email client and am using the beta. I had no
success in copying selected text from an email and placing it on the
clipboard and subsequently in a word document. I have done so from
explorer and the problem seems to be with email messages at least for me.
I used f8 to start the process, went to the end of the block, hit f8
again, selected copy to clipboard, closed Thunderbird and opened word.
When I hit control v nothing appeared in the document.
Just for the fun of it I also opened duxbury and attempted to copy from
the clipboard with no success. I tried this several times.
Finally, I saved the entire email as a text file and was able to pick up
the text from notepad.
I hope the window eyes group can duplicate this.
