Hi all. In an earlier comment, I raised the possibility that sluggishness might be an issue with the new beta with respect to Windows Explorer.
For me at least: Windows 8.1.1 and Window-Eyes beta are not happy with activities such as browsing for folders and files, searching off the startmenu and the Windows Explorer pull down. On a completely different machine, running Windows 7, and still running Window-eyes v9, these activities function more smoothly and less sluggishly. With respect to speed: working with two Word documents on the 8.1.1 install, and the speed improvements as relate to key strokes is marked.
