I am likewise still having problems with Read to End. I have disabled the
Insert Key Layout app. I have reported that reading stops and quickly
restarts. It seems that the cursor continues to move. I can press a key
again, and again, the reading stops and restarts on its own. Also, I
disabled toe Read To Me app.

Subject: Version Nos. for Factory Sets, What's Happening?
I reported that again with Beta II results for read-to-end were sporadic
using Win-7 and latest Firefox. Got some good advice to look at the 64
Factory Sets. Uninstalled All-in-play and have limited functionality back
in read-to-end.
Sometimes, however, a factory set is listed as outdated, but the version
no. of the current one is the same or lower than that of the outdated set.
Most end in dot-75.
I've found no mention of the insert key layout which was pointed out as a
likely culprit on the read-to-end issue, including under keyboard layouts.
(Reapplied the default.)
This is a complex issue, and I'd call the functionality obtained by
deleting a couple unused sets "limited" because there are still many
awkward pauses and instances where the cursor is several lines behind what
I'm hearing in the read-to-end presentation. For now I'd really like to
know what these version nos. on factory sets mean, and if their deletion
or uninstall is permanent, at least till the next beta.
