In the verbosity> common> activated property page of the WE control panel is
set of radio buttons called read entire dialogs, yes/ no. If the no radio
button is currently selected, switch to yes and save your settings.

As regards to the mouse behavior, maybe the mouse isn't currently set to
read by line as you arrow up or down. a Try rotoring the mouse up/ down
speak. It's Alt-num pad center.

this is an issue I've seen in windows 8 and with window-eyes 8.4 as
