yes. Why can't they use Nullsoft or Windows Installer instead. Most
commercial products use the latter. In fact the competitor uses Windows
Installer.

Hello,
Yes, I have had these issues, it is a part of the install shield program they
are using according to support when I contacted them regarding this issue and
they don’t know how to fix it, this is really bad and should be resolved!!
Thank you.

Subject: Window-Eyes install quirks
Hi:
I notice on my Dell Inspiron 3541 that, when installing WE 8.4, sometimes,
after the install completes, I hear the install program say that it has
finished, and, I get the prompts about whether or not to restart the computer.
However, pressing keys seems not to accomplish anything.
Further investigation, however, revealed that a program that the WE installer
installed was trying to get the computer to restart also, and, it just started
the restart process. So, Windows was asking me if I wanted to “restart
anyway,” since there were programs running. Pressing tab twice, then, the
space bar got the computer to restart.
Also, for several iterations of Window-Eyes, the installer has a problem
loosing keyboard focus. Even if I successfully alt-tab back to the installer
window, I have to click inside the dialog for the restart prompt for the
program to accept keyboard input.
Have any of these issues been addressed in the 9.0 installer?
Thanks!
