I agree I personally won't get win8 but that doesn't mean win7 is bad.
You will find there things you won't be able to do on the mack or you
may not be able to do things as easily.

Well now, there's an objective post, you gotta
love a guy who completely dismisses an entire operating system
irrespective of the version number, just because he's decided to get a
mac. If all these operating systems were a "piece of junk" they
wouldn't be on so many computers. Apple does have its place for sure,
but to discount Windows based on a bad experience with Windows 8 is
throwing the baby out with the bath water. It's like saying you guys
were really helpful, but in the words of Eric Cartman, "screw you guys,
i'm goin home!"

It is with deep regret i must leave this list. I am going to a mac
mini which is better than any of these stupid windows operating
systems. I have a friend who is teaching me, and frankly, i love it.
Thanks to all who helped me answer my window eyes questions. I too,
amongst others, am so sorry that microsoft now has an operating system
that is a piece of junk. NO, netbat, my computer was not defective,
the operating system is, was, and always shall be. Thankis to Chris,
netbat, Steve clower specifically, you were all wonderful.
