I created an MS Word label document from an Excel file. Upon completion, I
realized the font wasn’t what I desired, but rather, it was the default font in
MS Word. I was able to change the font in the Excel file, but when I recreated
the new MS Word document, it was still in the wrong font. I tried to select the
entire document using the F8 process. This didn’t work at all. Only the first
word in the first line was selected. I then tried going down by line using the
shift-Down Arrow to select text. After the first line or two, the entire lines
were not being selected. Furthermore, if I tried to select very many lines, MS
Word would stop working. I finally started going line by line and then using
the arrow keys to select individual characters. This process ultimately worked,
but by this method, I could only select onename at a time to change the font.
As you can imagine, this is quite tedious and would be impractical for a large
document. My document only had five name
s and addresses in it. In any case, I could not save the changes I had made to
the label document, though it seemed to print correctly. Some of these issues
may be MS Word-related and not Window-Eyes related, but I was wondering if
anyone had experienced this? Since I hesitate to send a list of names to the
list, I will send the info to AI Squared so they can work with it. This is with
WE 9.0 Beta 2 and Windows 7 64-bit.Thanks.
