Hi, If you have Window-eyes 7.2 it will not install on Windows 8. However, as you suggest, you could download the 60 day evaluation copy and install it. Just to clarify, the demo runs on all supported versions of Windows not just Windows 8..
If the friend has Office 2010 or 2013 they can download the Window-eyes Offer for Users of Microsoft Office and run it fully functional. http://www.windoweyesforoffice.com Chris Window-Eyes Product Support Ai Squared 725 Airport North Office Park Fort Wayne, IN 46825 (802) 362-3612 www.aisquared.com -----Original Message----- From: Ricky Lomey [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, December 22, 2014 5:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: INSTALLING WINDOW-EYES ON COMPUTER Hi What is required to install WE on another computer though only temporarily say a laptop woth 7.2? I thought one either just used the CD with three chances, in my case one since it is already running here or could pit it on a flash drive apart from I think the video support? I want a sighted pal to put it on his laptop to just show me around Windows seven and/or eight to see how it works so we thought to put on Window-Eyes though it'll only work with Windows seven. Also is it enough to install or does one have to configure it and if so how seeing it's only temporary? Not sure if the installation file is on the CD? Bit pf a mission to unplug my USB dongle from my desktop to use it and seems the demo on the website for a sixty-day trial only works with Windows eight.
