Is it possible your problem of requiring two presses of a key on the Amazon site is specific to amazon.com? I just went to the site and was able to reproduce the behavior only in the first list on the page. If I go to the second list, which has the same items in it, I don’t notice having to press the arrow keys twice.
Another thing I have noticed on the Amazon site: If I just go to the site and wait, I will hear Window-Eyes read out the items from the list mentioned above. That is, I don’t have to press any keys; the items are just read out automatically. There is a several second pause between each items vocalization however. The automatic speaking of each list item happens only once. There is a slight delay between key-press and reading of line/link. ‘Also using Win 7 HP 64 bit with the latest version of FF. I have Noscript enabled but allow javascript on the Amazon site. WE is slowing down; there are substantial delays when I arrow down on a website such as amazon. Also, it often takes two presses of the down-arrow key to get to the next item on the website. This is worse than beta-2. John riehl If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
