O.k.: definitely my mistake as it relates to Internet Explorer at least.

I still like the f8 development, as it makes for easier braile display 
confirmation of seelected row, but I do think selection by shift-arrows will be 
reinstated

The problem is that the old way doesn't work either.  You can't use the control 
arrows to select larger blocks of text and, in my opinion, this is a huge step 
back.

Having said that, I'm sure that there is a reason why AI Squared has changed 
how to copy text because of something Microsoft may have done or are planning 
to do.
