Hi: I would imagine the guys at WE are about ready for a nice long stay at some
quiet private facility after all the changes in Operating Systems and the new
accessibility senarios.
The new CEO at MS wants to put out new software even faster if you can believe
that.
That said, if MS follows guidelines WE implementation should get better as WE
programmers become more familiar with, and have canned code blocks, for the new
paradynes.
Eventually I see them getting away from some of the base technicals they
currently use and perhaps even get into developing in the Visual Studio
environment to be able to keep up with these changes.
As for the new browser, if it implements accessibility standards there is no
reason why WE shouldn’t work with it perfectly out of the box.
As for web pages, ah, theres the rub since it all depends on their
implementation of accessibility standards which more and more of them are
ignoring it seems.
Perhaps WE will develop a scripting mechanism for scripting sites or pages and
using the scripts automatically when a site or page is opened if that doesn’t
already exist - plugins can currently be used but are beyond the abilities of
most vbscript creators.

Subject: Microsoft coming out with a new web browser? Is Window Eyes ready for
this program? or is this a surprise?
Reports suggest Microsoft is working on a new web browser as an
alternative to Internet Explorer. Both the scope and timescale of any
changes have not yet been confirmed, but it's suggested the launch will
coincide with the release of Windows 10. Most rumors reference two
codenames for the project: Trident and Spartan. The two names refer to
the same strategy: to make Microsoft's web browser better and easier to
use on modern websites, while still being able to run web pages
designed for legacy systems. Trident is the web browser engine which
already exists and is part of ...
