I can confirm that everything is now working much more reliably than when I
started this thread.  It is certainlyh true that the login procedure is a
bit strange, but once past that things do work as they should.

I am using Windows 7 x 64 and I had no trouble except that login  was
strange, but if you route the mouse I see sign in and if I move uup I see
forgot your password, etc. but the regular links read OK, for me -- it
sounds like some strange page design.
