Hi, Manny, Reg.

WE 9 beta three, IE eleven, and the Amazon.com web sight for sighted users.
I recently bought a Craftsman SAE socket set and a 9 piece combination
wrench set. Before that, I made other purchases as well. Since I began using
IE 11 and WE 9 betas one, two, and three, I have had no problem making
Amazon purchases, selecting credit cards, selecting a shipping method, or
giving product feedback.

Reg, when I was using Firefox and Amazon, I made a habit of completely
disabling NoScript, as it, for some unknown reason, will not let me remove
some Amazon content from the untrusted list. I had noticed that the trouble
you described, which was happening to me as well, began after a NoScript
update. In addition, the only way I could use links in Firefox was by using
the Application key and selecting the 'open page in a new window' menu
option. I gave up hoping the NoScript author would find and correct the
problem; then again, maybe I just had a bad NoScript download. Maybe
uninstalling and reinstalling NoScript would correct the problem, but I
never investigated that option, as I can now use IE eleven.

Best,

Lou N.

Hi Steve,
I needed sighted help to make a purchase on Amazon.
I first tried on my own using firefox and Ie11, but it requires a mouse
click which is not available to us with the numpad.
For example, I have several charge cards saved on Amazon, and there was no
way for me to click on the credit card that I needed. I even tried using
their website which is more accessible for the blind, and I could not do it.
The same problem was true for the changing of the shipping speed.
Many thanks,
Manny

Reg,

Are you using any add-ons like Noscript? If so, allow the Amazon site
through and it should work better. If not, we will need precise steps on
reproducing the problem.

>From a coding standpoint, Amazon has made some rather strange design
decisions for their main shopping pages as of late, and because of that I'm
not too surprised to hear you are having difficulty. Even so we will take a
look if we can get exact steps in the event that there is a Window-Eyes
issue to blame.

Regards,
Steve

Hi again

Further to my message below, it's possible that this happens when the
item you want isn't available in the size and/or color you want it, but
Amazon isn't saying that, or perhaps it is, but I'm not seeing it. A
button simply not working is no substitute for an explanation about why
it's not working.

   Hi all

when I try to buy something on Amazon using the latest Firefox under
Windows7, I find the "add to basket" button, but nothing happens with
the enter key, the space bar or, attempting to route the mouse, the W-E
left click or the physical mouse left click.

I expect this will work in IE, so why not in Firefox. This is
amazon.co.uk by the way, although I doubt that makes a difference.
