Are those windows open to control-tab to? Use Alt-E and Alt-G to insure they
are open.

Thanks Doug, everything is pretty much back to normal now. I used the check
for updates features to install over the one I downloaded.

I just installed the winamp scripts and for some reason I can't use control tab
to move to the equalizer or the playlist area.

Bill and others,

I apologize, there was a problem with the full Window-Eyes 9.0 Offer for users
of Microsoft Office installer when installed on a 64-bit machine. The
Window-Eyes 9.0 upgrade did not have this problem nor did any of the non offer
for users of Microsoft Office. This has since been resolved. If you have the
bad install you have two choices.

1) Simply go to the Window-Eyes help menu and select the "check for updates"
option and click the "Download Window-Eyes 9.0.0.0" link. The 9.0 upgrade can
be installed on the existing 9.0 install and it will resolve the problem.

or

2) Uninstall the existing 9.0 Offer for users of Microsoft Office, download the
installer again from http://www.windoweyesforoffice.com and re-install..

I apologize for the problem but once we were able to duplicate the problem we
resolved it immediately.

But I want to be clear, this ONLY affected the full 9.0 installer that was
downloaded from www.windoweyesforoffice.com<http://www.windoweyesforoffice.com>
when installed on a 64-bit version of Windows. The 9.0 upgrade has no problem
and the full (non offer for users of Microsoft Office) does NOT have any
install problem. The issue has been resolved and 2 solutions have been
provided above.

Regards,
Doug

   Hi Joseph,

Thanks for the explanation. It scares me a bit not knowing what else isn't
right about the Office install.

   Hi Bill:

I too have experienced what you are talking about.

I have reported it on this list.

Appears to be an error in the WE 9.0 installer for the office version.

This does not happen with the evaluation, nor does it happen if I upgrade to
9.0 from the WEforOffice 8.4 install. It only happens when doing a fresh
install with the WEforOffice installer for version 9.0.

   Hopefully, they'll sort this out.

If you have never used the evaluation, you can download the Window-Eyes demo
and use it for 60 days. You won't see this issue with the Window-Eyes
evaluation demo.

   Hope this helps.

   I couldn't buy the new Window-Eyes 9, but I do have a copy of Office 2010,
so I downloaded from the Window-Eyes for Office site. Now instead of saying
desktop, Window-Eyes says program manager, and instead of saying start button
it says start button button start. I didn't change any settings between beta
9.3 and version 9. Is anyone else experiencing these things?
