Some of us waited nearly six weeks for discs following the previous release.
In my case, here in New Zealand, it was unclear as to how long a reasonable
wait should be, as historically, I had the cd in my mailbox inside 10 working
days.

Over time, the number of duplications must increase, with the associated
stamping of serial numbers, packaging etc. But I felt then, and do now, that
six weeks was too long.

My suggestion, which in truth may in fact be the practice, is to prepare all
sma cds just prior to the final release notice, even 48-72 hours ahead would
make a difference, and then proceed as normal. AI Squared does not control the
ideosyncracies of the postal system, but the objective must surely be to take
whatever steps are practical to reduce the time customers have to wait.
I do appreciate the ability to download and upgrade from a new executable, but
maybe consideration could also be given to providing the complete new release
as a download, with serial number as part of the verification process as it is
now. However: a great deal still has to be said for the cd media.

Best.

Vaughan.

If the past is any indication probably a few weeks to a month or
so. AI squared has to burn and duplicate the discs and send them out and that
takes a bit of time. Patience my friends, patience. :)
