Bill, This sounds like the Toshiba flash cards utility. While its purpose is a mystery, I am confident you don't need it. Either remove it in Programs and Features or disable it from loading in the startup tab of the Windows Task Manager.

Every time I close a program, a dialog pops up saying “Toshiba Flash Cards Win 8 test version” with an okay button and a cancel button. Spacebar won’t activate those buttons, but I can route the mouse to the button and click to dismiss the dialog. It won’t pop up when connected to Toshiba remote support, but does as soon as they disconnect. I did a print screen of that window and save it in Word, but when the Toshiba tech guy looked at that file it just showed my desktop. It appears that this is one of those messages that the screen reader get stuck on. Although, the person who delivered the laptop also did see that window on the screen. Has anyone else encountered such behavior on a Toshiba Satellite running Window-Eyes? Bill If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
