Especially for the high-intermediate user, which is where I put myself, the issues with WE 9.0 are at this time very real. Couldn'[t some of these be solved or at least bridged by updates to apps in GW's Enhance series?
It is, for example, almost impossible to read thru a document on my Imap-based Web mail such as the recent 64-message GW-info digest. Is there no way that Firefox Enhhance could be made to provide buffering to cushion the start/stop/stutter inherent in the current system? Certainly there are pages, (and apparently there will be more), where the interactive approach shines brightly; however, the apps and scripts which were so long awaited in the recent past might bridge the gap. One can only hope that the updating process remain as open as before, in spite of security issues that surfaced of late. -- "Under the spreading chestnut tree, where I sold you and you sold me..." paraphrase by Orwell, 1984.
