Haven't realized any trouble in the amount of characters or lines. What I seem to steadily having trouble with, is whenever there is any controls, like a button, link or similar, being part of what I want copied. Just about permanently when trying to copy anything that holds such controls as part of it, no matter how much or little text there is in addition, the F8 is deemed not to work. Copying plain text, is more of a hit and miss, as it works one time, but not the other. It is so widely the case, it is hard to give specific webpages. I honestly never have paid much attention to if there would be any upper limit to the amount of text that can be copied in one chunk. Just thought, maybe the reason why you are able to copy smaller blocks, would be because you thereby somehow bypassed the controls on the site. Mere guessing, but NVDA may be your solution next time you want things copied.

Hi, has anybody else noticed that the F8 selection command doesn't copy when going past a certain amount of characters? I don't know if this is arbitrary or not or if it has been brought up on the list before. Apologies for that, there have been numerous messages regarding this new function. I attempted to copy a selection of text that was at least 15 lines long and window eyes would not do it. However, dividing it up into sections seemed to do the trick of about five lines each. Is there a limit currently to the number of characters window eyes will recognize and consequently copied to the clipboard?

Thanks, Dave
