The command you speak of is alt-n for the notification bar. Note: it is an
Internet Explorer command, not a screen reader command.

Subject: Trouble saving file downloads from Bookshare with IE, Please Help!

Hello Listers,

And I guess the above pretty much explains the nature of my issue.

For some reason, I cannot get IE to save files to my hard drive when
using the download button on the Bookshare site, although after going
to my history and downloading the file by using the download link,
the file can be located and unzipped.

I hear that the fish has a key combination for getting to something
called the info bar, which apparently allows one to save the files
using the button, but I can't find anything of a similar nature in WE.

Could someone please help me with this issue?

Thanks very much in advance,

Larry
