Yes, they did. AISquaired dropped support for Win XP for all versions of
Window  Eyes 9. It will install and it may work, but they are not testing
anything regarding Win XP. So there wouldn't be a message. AISquaired set
this up. See answer below from AISquaired support to help you out with your
issue:

Hello,
There are two options.
1.  With the license manager open send a window-eyes diagnostic so we can
see the license code on the system.
2.  If you have Office 2010 or 2013 installed, remove the demo and go to
windoweyesforoffice.com and install Window-eyes for office and use that
unrestricted.

Note: we no longer support Windows XP With Window-eyes 9.0.

Are you sure? It is not clearly stated anywhere that the software 
will not run on  windows xp. Even the manual has references to 
options available and how to do certain things in windows XP.
Other than the problem with the malfunctioning 60 day evaluation, I 
can do most everything else with windoweyes.  Clearly, if the program 
is not meant for windows XP, you would get a message saying so.
