Hi John,

The Sense note takers do have a backup utility, but it is primarily used to backup option type settings, rather than ones specific files. However, one can backup their entire flash disk, which would of course include their files, and then just access those files in the normal way on whatever drive to which they have been copied. Here is the link to the knowledge base article about updating the Sense note takers, but the backing up process is also explained in preparation for the update:

Subject: [GWN] Backingup the Braille Sense?

Hello,

I don't have a Braille Sense yet, but I am seriously considering
purchasing one.
Does it have a backup utility? If so, are the files compressed
when backed up, or do they stay in their original format?

John
