Hi. The cost is $1549. However if you already have a GPS receiver then the cost is $1479.

Many thanks.

Hello Raul

What would be the cost for the key and the maps?

Thanks for your email.

Hi. The software which comes with the Holux M-1000 gps receivers is pretty much useless, however it only allows you to run diagnostics on the receiver. It does not provide any amp functionality or real time updates to the GPS satellite network. If you want to use SenseNav with the Voice Sense, you will need to purchase it from us and you will get a memory card loaded with Canada or U.S. maps. Once you have the maps and the key for the software, you will be able touse it.

Many thanks.

Hello everyone.
I have a Holux m1000 GPs receiver, but I find that the software that comes with it is completely inaccessible with Jaws. I am wondering if anyone has gotten it to work with the Voice Sense and how you got past the loading maps with the "smart Map Loader" software.
I will appreciate hearing from you and thank you in advance.

*Subject:* [GWN] New Voice Sense Accessories

Hello everyone. We are pleased to announce that we now have a couple
new accessories for the Voice Sense.

    1. We now have a new cable for connecting the Voice Sense and
SyncBraille in the combo case. If someone purchases the Syncbraille
and VoiceSense together they get a combo case free and the cable free. The cable is available for purchase separately. It is 18 inches
long, Mini-A to Mini-B USB, and sells for $10.00. Each end is shaped
differently so you can easily tell which end is which. The Mini-A
side has an oval-shaped plug. This is the end which connects into
the Voice Sense. The other end has a rectangle-shaped plug and this
is the end which connects to the Sync Braille. In addition, you can
connect the rectangular end to other USB devices with small plugs
such as the Holux M-1000 GPS receivers. This may be good if you
don't have a PC handy and you need to charge your GPS receiver. When
using this cable, you don't need the short dongle which comes with
the Voice Sense. So this makes the connection between the Voice
Sense and the SyncBraille much smoother.

    2. We also have a CF Ethernet card for the Voice Sense which sells
for $115.00. This card slides into the CF slot on the left side and
allows you to connect the Voice Sense to a network via wired
Ethernet. So if you need access to the Internet, but wireless is not
available because only wired Ethernet is supported, then this card
    is for you.

    Many thanks.
