On Monday, March 31, I hooked up with Time Warner Cable in Rochester NY. I am currently receiving three services in a bundled package: Basic-Standard Cable, RoadRunner Standard with RoadRunner Turbo and RoadRunner Wireless and Time Warner Digital Phone. I recently purchased a used computer, and I would like to download the RoadRunner Security Suite from the Internet. There is no cost to me to download the software.
I realize that I am departing from the subject of notetakers, but I have an urgent request. I would like to know if there is anyone on this list who currently pays for RoadRunner? Have you ever downloaded the RoadRunner Security Suite from the Internet? Is the Security Suite blind-user friendly? I would really like to get a blind-user friendly Security Suite which contains Antivirus, AntiSpam with Spam Filters, and Spyware Software. GW Micro recommends Nod32. I am currently facing a major problem: I called www.nod32.com and I was told that the current version, which is 3.0, is totally not blind-user friendly, because the Graphic User Interface was turned off. I apologize, Technical Support Staff, for departing from the subject of notetakers (which is what this list is designed to focus on), but I really need some help from members on this list. I do not wish to subscribe to GW-Info because I would be receiving too many emails on a daily basis. Also, I do not know if the company is currently selling Nod32 Version 2.7. Could someone on this list please email me privately at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thank you very much. ------- Bob Rite
