This URL can be used: http://www.svcb.cc/media/bc/2008_Summer/playlist.m3u.
This playlist has 30 items in it. You will notice that "about:blank" is displayed. In other words, the browser stays operational instead of just handing the playlist to the Media Player. This playlist works properly in Internet Explorer, which calls Windows Media Player, were you can move forward and backward among the items. Unfortunately only the first item plays on the Braille Sense Plus, and this appears to be happening in the background, not via the Media Player. This isn't new in that the element playing audio has always seemed to run in the background. So what we need is to somehow get access to this background player. This playlist is part of an experimental project to make an online audio edition of the Blind Californian. It is not on the target site (www.ccbnet.org) yet, and will go away from the svcb.cc site once the project migrates. If you use www.svcb.cc/files/testbc.htm, you'll find the HTML page to the project. Here, following the link to access the playlist brings up the favorites dialog;, and, again, only the playlist's first item, apparently playing in the background, is heard. In this background player, all we can do is change the volume. But it seems there are more controls there, and we need access to them. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raul A.
