I think your question has already been answered. However let me clarify.
As long as you know the incoming and outgoing server names, the ports,
your username and password for both incoming and outgoing (if
necessary), and as long as your isp allows pop3 then you can do it all
with the Voice Sense no matter where you are. This is regardless of
whether you are behind a router, modem, or whether you can or cannot do
it with the Braillenote. If you are in a public place such as a coffee
shop, hotel, or air port, you may need to use alternate ports such as
ssl on port 465. You might also need to use another smtp service such as
what has been mentioned on list before in case your isp does not allow
port 25 connections from foreign networks.
