Subject: Re: [GWN] VS and Sync Braille
Hi Peter. i believe we have answered this already in a prior
message
which you wrote a few months back. The relation has not changed
from
back then.
In short, we means the GW Micro staff. When I write a message
that we
have something marked down to look into or to improve or to
consider for
an addition to the software, I am talking about GW Micro.
We, meaning GW Micro are the distributer for the Sense products
in the
US and Canada. Sense products are sold elsewhere in the world
and HIMS
has other distributors. As has also been said before, the
firmware we
support is the US-English one. So it is possible that features,
bug
fixes or other enhancements may not be present at the same time
with our
firmware as with other firmwares of other areas in the world. A
good
example is Sense navigation. This gps product is only sold in
the US and
Canada and not in other countries such as the UK.
Hope this helps.

Raul.
When you say "we" have this "marked down", who is "we?"
What is the relationship between GWMICRO and Hims? Would such
improvements be available to Sense purchasers around the World?
Is a Vs unit, the same basically regardless in all parts of the
Globe?
Is the BSP similar regardless of which part of the Universe its
sold?
Would it be an advantage to all for this to be the situation?
Peter.

yes, we have this marked down to see what can be done to enhance
this.

Is it as you say, "marked" for looking at?

Currently the Email program in the Voice Sense does not allow
for
clicking on links to view in the web browser or to start a new
Email
message.

You can route the cursor to the part of the display you want,
but
it has
no affect on whether it's a link or not. Are you asking about
clicking
on a link to open it in the web browser?
peter greco said the following on 8/7/2008 12:31 AM:
Can the Sync Braille cursor routing buttons be used when the
text to a
link is displayed? Similar to that of the Braille Note's braille
display?
If not, is it something being seriously considered?
Peter.
