Well, Vicky wrote me off list using the vs and courier mail read it
just fine.  I'll try it in a bit with the bn we have here and see
what happens, but it definitely is strange and it happens every
time with Vicky's bn for whatever reason.

Actually, it's probably something in courier mail as mail headers
and such canand often do get somewhat corrupted in transmission.
But, the email program should be smart enough to deal with that.  

I have a similar problem with windows mail under vista where
occasionally I'll get a message which causes an error resulting in
windows mail not being able to download messages received after the
one with the error.  The only way I've found to get around the
problem is to use another email program to download messages and
get rid of the offending message.  And, the offender appears just
fine when I read it with the other program.

But, that situation is totally random and only happens rarely.
