Go to utilities, and press l for calendar.
Enter the date where it says solar calendar and press tab twice. This will
give you the day of th eweek.

Hi Steve,
I checked the calendar feature. There are several tab boxes. First, it
announces the solar calendar and the date, such as December 25, 2008.
Then you tab and it says lunar calendar and announces the date.
Press tab one more time and it says the day of the week, "Thursday", in
this
case with the example of the solar calendar. If you press tab again, it
cycles back to "solar calendar". I guess you can also press enter to
cycle
through these 3 fields. Pressing As chord exits you out of the calendar
and
it places you back under "calendar, l" in the utilities menu.
