Actually you can easily convert wave to mp3. It's called audio compression. However, you cannot do it with a notetaker for reasons already stated. If on the PC, programs such as CDex and Goldwave are perfect for these tasks.

Hey there, You can't take wave files and convert them to mp 3s. If you could, I would do it faster than you can say voice sense. The advantage of using a lower quality of space is that the files are smaller but it sounds really crappy.
