Hello. It should not be possible to pop it out with one hand because if the Voice Sense is placed inside the brackets all the way, they will hold it in place to the point where considerable force would be needed to remove it without releasing the catch on the back of the Voice Sense case. We tried a method of having the Voice Sense completely behind the SyncBraille however this made the combo case very long. This is why we opted for the method we are using where the front of the Voice Sense rests on top of the unused portion of the SyncBraille.

Many thanks.

Don, the vs fell out of the case that sits in the combo case, and it was hooked to the syncbraille at the time. It came unhooked in the fall I guess. Mine has never fit real tight.
As I said, I can pop it out with one hand.

Stacey,

Did your vs fall out of the combo case or out of the vs case which slides under the strap in the combo case. Are the 3 metal claps which hold the vs in place in it's own case loose?

I guess I'm not understanding exactly how your vs fell out of the combo case. In any case, that's certainly not a good thing and hope you can resolve it.

My vs fits quite securely in it's leather case and the leather case fits very securely in the combo case.

Don

Subject: [GWN] Problem with combo case

Hi all,
I had a major problem today during church with my combo case. I stood to sing, and my voice sense fell out on to the floor. I do not know for sure what caused this. My VS doesn't really fit very tight in my combo case though. I can remove it with one hand. My VS suffered no damage, but this is really scary to me. I'd personally like to see a safer case for the Syncbraille and voice sense. I'm not sure what, but I'd be willing to brain storm with anyone from GW to redesign something more secure. I'm not sure how a different case could be designed, but I wonder if there's a way to have a case where the voice sense sits behind the sync braille? You'd still have to be able to get to the jacks and buttons on the front, but there's got to be a better design.
Has anyone else had an issue with their combo case like this?
I had an issue with mine not closing, but I resolved that with Velcro.
That would not work for this situation because the Velcro would have to go right on to the back of the VS and I'm not sure that would be the best idea.
Thanks for reading.
