This is primarily directed to Raul and the gw staff, but input from
others might be helpful too.
I've noticed that the option for the length of time a message will stay
on the braille display is not at all consistent.
For example, if you turn wireless on (I use the backspace dots 1 4 5 6
shortcut), the message only stays on the braille display for a second or
two regardless of changes to the message display option.
Toggle wireless off using the same key combination, and the "wireless
off" message will stay on the display for the amount of time determined
by the setting of the message option.
Also, when you turn on wireless and have the machine set to connect to
the internet, the internet connected message comes up in a few seconds
but will stay on the braille display indefinitely until you press some
other key.
I'd really like to see HIMS look into a more consistent way of
displaying messages.
This behavior is on the bs plus as well as the vs with syncbraile.
There are probably other examples of this, but those are the ones which
come to mind right now. Anyone else noticing this?
