Hello Paul. No offense taken. However since you mentioned being a stickler for details. The word you mean to use is "will" instead of "may" as in, If you perform the reset involving the fast forward key, it may return you to factory default status.

In other words, doing this type of reset will return you to default factory settings, *smile*.

I know this is sort of anal compulsive of me but I feel like being sure
that folks understand that this is not an either or situation. If you
perform the reset involving the fast forward key, it may return you to
factory default status but it will not erase any of your data except in
the area of settings. So, you have to actually do both. I would format
the drive first and then do the fast forward reset. Raul is correct. I
am just a stickler for clarity, I guess. I hope that Raul is not
offended. That is certainly not my intent.

Paul

Hi, this is good, however you can save yourself a lot of time by formatting the flashdisk. if you read kb articles 1063 and 1064 they will tell you how to format the flashdisk as well as how to revive the Sense to restore it to factory defaults. This makes it be exactly the way it shipped from the factory.

Many thanks.

I don't know if you got the answer, but here is what to do. If you
want
to delete all your files from the Braille Sense, go to the file
manager,
find your file list, select the files by pressing the spacebar to mark
the ones to delete. Then just delete them.
As far as your folders go, the file manager has a folder manager in
its
submenu. Again, select the folders by pressing space which marks the
folder/file, and then delete them. I'm sure the same principle holds
true in the e-mail accounts if it has its own manager, or if it's
managed by the file manager.
If this is a repeat, just delete/ ignore this e-mail!
