Hi Mike.
Thank you and Donna for the enormous amount of time, patience and
effort that's gone into this!
Can you explain how I can get this into my favourites?
Also, perhaps Raul could "mark" this down, that is, if he's still
following this thread that has gone for 9'378'146 emails, and
that's just those to the list, not counting those off list!
Again many thanks for all your time!
Cheers.
Peter.

Subject: [GWN] Playlist for MIX1023
Peter:
I can verify that the playlist does give the "file does not
exist"
message. I suspect that it either has to do with the fact that
you're
specifying a dotted quad (that is, a numeric IP address) for the
domain
*or* the Media Player does not recognize the "mms://" prefix.
You'll
have to bring the thing up via the web browser and then copy one
of your
favorites, editing the copy to substitute the address for the one
in the
favorite and renaming it so that you can specify the station
directly.
Bottom line: it's nothing you're doing wrong; you're asking the
media
player for something it doesn't understand.
Incidentally, there was a time when Windows Media Player *also*
didn't
understand the "MMS://" prefix; only I E understood it. That's
no longer
the case.
